Here's the deal

Ok guys and girls, as you probably know Frank Kern and I are launching Infomillionaire TOMORROW!

I was just thinking about the "backstory" on this earlier this morning... and realized I don't think we've ever really told anyone.

Here's the deal:

If you didn't know, Infomillionaire is going to be FREE.  All you do is pay shipping.

Well get this... Infomillionaire was NEVER planned on being a free product!

When we first discussed this last year, we were going to charge a hefty price for it.  That's why there is so much stuff in the course.

There's a 180+ Page Manual, a CD-Rom with 20 Videos, a 30 page newsletter, another CD-Rom with custom software, the affiliate template I talked about in the video, and other cool stuff... Plus 2 more pieces of custom software we've never released before.

Seriously, it's a TON of stuff.

Not only that, but I developed a system I've never seen before to make it DEAD easy to learn it.

Not just easy stuff like "getting dreamweaver".. but even the more advanced stuff like setting up a killer adwords campaign and using our custom made software.

Alright, well I gotta get back to work. 

Still gotta lot of stuff todo before tomorrow and this post took longer than I was planning to make.

But the point is this:

We actually MADE this system planning on selling it for a lot of money.

I talked with Frank last night about what to do next.  See the reaction for this thing has been absolutely insane... a LOT more than we anticipated.

As of now we are planning on charging either $67 or $97 for this same package if we release it again.

It's just a TON of valuable stuff and we are throwing away a lot of money not charging for it.

At that price, it's still one hell of a deal and actually MUCH cheaper than the original price we were thinking (the $500 range).

And to be clear, this isn't some marketing ploy. 

Actually, I believe this is the only place this has even been mentioned.

I wanted the few readers of my blog to get the inside scoop in case we do up the price (and nothing is set in stone, we just discussed it last night and I wanted to bring it to your attention).

Start a membership site RIGHT NOW!

If you've read this blog a while, you'll remember a previous post about a video optin campaign
I did.

The results were really good, so check it out if you haven't.

I don't think mentioned it at the time, but this was for a new monthly membership I created for a regular niche clickbank product.

It was really a quick process too. 

I went from "Hey, I should launch a membership site" to releasing it in less than 2 weeks.

Pretty much just emailed my list and wrote a sales copy.

Anyways, I wanted to tell you this because:

The membership site is now making DOUBLE what the regular clickbank site is.

This is going to literally make hundreds of thousands of dollars more per year for doing about 5 hours of work a month.

And I'm not even promoting this thing on PPC... just put up a link on my download page and email my list about it once a month.

Pretty damn cool.

All I do is record an audio CD once a month on the computer and then send it to them.  I don't have a forum, membership portal, or any of that stuff... and it's all automated.

Definitely go do this if you haven't already!

Contacting your Clickbank Affiliates...

One thing I never understood about clickbank is this:

Why can't you CONTACT the affiliates selling your product?!

That's a huge flaw in there design, and they're behind other big networks on this one. 

Luckily, I havefigured out a super simple way to contact at least some of your affiliates.

This is common sense "stare you in the face" technique, but I didn't think of it until recently.

Simply type in their affiliate id into a clickbank hoplink like this:

http://YOURID.THEIRID.hop.clickbank.net

By doing this little bit of reverse engineering, you'll be routed to their clickbank sales page if they are listed in the marketplace.

The cool thing is, if they DO have a product on clickbank - AND they are promoting your stuff - then you can probably work out some type of JV deal like trading an email in each others autoresponder, adding a link to each other's thank you page or doing special email promotions on holidays.

About 30% of the affiliates I tested had sales pages linked to thier clickbank ID's.  Not to shabby, that's actually more than I thought.

And you might find offers that work with your niche you didn't think about.

Like if one of your affiliates is selling your guitar course and his website is about learning violin.

45 Million a year with Lawn Signs

Why some launches fail.

I wrote an email to myself a few months ago about launches. 

The email breaks down why some launches I've had in the past were failures, and why others were complete home runs.

Now, I've been pretty lucky.  Most of the launches I've done have been extremely successful.

Stuff like a continuity programs, expensive upsells, cheap upsells, half off sales, and JV deals.

But, there have been a few that were total flops... And I've definitely learned more from those flops than the successes!

So here's the email I wrote to myself.

Now before I launch anything,  I make sure it meets this criteria:

Launch Problems

The problem id either the Audience, the Offer, or the Launch.

1. Audience
    - Are they passionate?
    - Do they give a damn?  (Feedback, people emailing for more info after buying products)
    - Do you know what they REALLY want? (www.surveymonkey.com)

2. Offer
    - Right price point?
    - Right sales copy and "voice"? (What I got, What it will do, what I need you to do)
    - Right OFFER? (Giving them what they are dying for)

3. Launch
    - Right momentum and flow?
    - Giving your BEST information during launch?
    - Right timing? (Not around holidays, no other big launches)

4. Your Status:
     - Do they TRUST you.
     - Do you have SOCIAL proof (Do they think you know what you are talking about)
     - Do they think you have something they MUST have?

Through a lot of testing, I've found if you can answer yes to all these questions, then you will have a successful launch.

Content Network Video Tip

Hey all,

I just made a new video showing you a tip I use in the Google Adwords Content Network.

This is really cool:

By the way, I made that video using http://www.jingproject.com.

That site is owned by Techsmith (who also owns Camtasia).

It let's you make a video up to 5 minutes long, then upload it with ease.  It took me like 6 minutes to shoot that video and get the link... so check that out.

Audio quality isn't all that great, but hey.. it's not bad for a free service.

Sorry for the delay in posting!

Went to Eben Pagan's "Green Room" in Chicago last week.  I worked like crazy the week before the event, and then took off the week after the event.

So I haven't been around much :)

It was freakin' AWESOME though. 

If your not familiar with the Green Room, It was an invite only event with a ton of internet marketing badasses there.  I met some really cool people and made a ton of contacts.

Eben (who always does things top notch) rented out a BAR at the House of Blues from 10AM to 6PM for two days.

It was open bar the whole time (people were drinking by 1-2PM) and all about making connections.

The only downside was people tended to stay in there groups instead of REALLY networking. 

Regardless, I'm super glad it wasn't "Pick a name from a hat and talk to that person for 20 minutes" type of event.

Quick Tip

You can copy and paste campaigns from different accounts in adwords editor.

Just click on the "Campaign" tab, then right click your campaign and choose copy.

Like this:

Now, open up your new account... click on the campaigns tab, then press CTRL-V (or choose Edit > Paste).

That will paste the campaign into the new account for you.

Google doesn't show a "paste" option in the right click menu for some reason.
