Read a very interesting article on digg this morning.
How a company is "supposedly" doing 40+ million a year getting dating leads from lawn signs:
Now that's thinking outside the box.
------------
Edit: I have no clue of the legality of this, just thought it was interesting someone thought to test this on such a wide scale.
I see these signs everywhere and always wonder if they ever worked.
now I know...
Always thought it was some dumbass guy who paid an indian company to design a dating site for him.
I guess I'm the dumbass... haha

Nothing similar exists in Australia, probably because we have a smaller population.
Mind you I worked for a dating agency in the smallest state in Australia and still maaneged to find people to match that weren't related or previous partners..... JV anyone?

I found another site today for out-of-the box advertising, I thought. This is similar to advertising with car magnets, but with a lot more class. They're targeting the RE industry, but I think this is awesome for anyone with an on-line business!
Here's the URL: http://www.realestateurls.com/

in real estate we call them bandit signs. they work across various mediums for various industries. you have to be careful though because they are illegal pretty much everywhere. many large cities are starting to enforce pretty heavily the smaller markets usually are less strict.
go have a nu-way dog for me.
